Additional Program Information Option 1 Assessment, exercise, & nutrition. Assessment: Two MicroFit assessments. One at the beginning of the program, providing a baseline level of health and fitness, and a second at the end of the program measuring progress. A MicroFit measures body fat, strength, flexibility, heart rate, blood pressure, and aerobic fitness, producing a printed report showing level of fitness specific to age and gender. MicroFit confidential assessments will be conducted by one of our certified Personal Trainers. Exercise: The exercise component consists of six 1/2 hour sessions with a certified Personal Trainer. Data from the MicroFit assessment, personal goals and other client information will be used by the Personal Trainer to develop individualized workout plans. Clients will work 1-on-1 with their trainer, to implement and measure progress. Nutrition: The nutrition component consists of meeting with a Registered Dietitian from St Anthony Hospital to establish a nutrition program based on client goals and current level of fitness. Clients will have two short follow up meetings with the nutritionist to follow on progress. Option 2 Assessment, exercise, and nutrition. Same program as Option 1 but with an increased number of sessions with a certified Personal Trainer from six to twelve. Option 3 Nutrition program only. This option is designed for persons who may already have an effective exercise program in place and/or are already working with a Personal Trainer. Clients have the opportunity to augment their exercise program with a nutrition program geared to assist them in meeting their lifestyle goals. As in Options 1 & 2, clients will meet with the Registered Dietitian a total of three times to establish a nutrition program and follow up on progress. |
